My name is Jonathan Roisman, and I currently work as an Administrative Assistant for the City of Half Moon Bay. I formerly worked as an extra-help Management Aide in the Santa Clara County Assessor’s Office, and as a City Council intern with the City of Santa Monica. Before that, I worked in journalism and the financial literacy field for two years. I have a Master’s in Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from San Jose State University.

I am passionate about many social causes, including poverty alleviation and broader socio-economic issues. My career objective is to work for a public policy organization or government agency advocating for better social safety nets through programs such as SNAP, TANF, and Social Security.
